Library-Rules
- Students are allowed to borrow books from the Library.
- Discipline and silence are maintained in the library.
- Students are not allowed to carry bags, plastic bags, water bottles, tiffin inside the Library
- Library staff in not responsible for the loss of user’s belongings.
- Mobile phones should be switched off in the library. Usage of mobile phones, own headphones,Laptop is not allowed inside the library.
- Students should use/keep chairs properly in the Library
- Students are strictly prohibited from taking the borrowed and stamped books again inside the stacking area.
- Books borrowed must be returned or renewed before the due date.
- Books are required to be present physically at the counter for renewal.
- Absence from the college will not be allowed as an excuse for the delay in returning the books.
- The returned books shall not to be reissued to the same person on the same day of return.
- If the due date falls on a holiday for the library, the next working day will be the due date.
- If any book is taken out from the shelf, it should be placed back in its original place.
- Student Library cards are not transferable
- Under special circumstances, the librarian may refuse the issue of books or recall the books already issued from any student without assigning any reason.
- Any marking, underlining, or clipping of books, or periodicals is prohibited, readers shall be held responsible for any damage done to the book, or periodicals belonging to the library and shall be required to replace such book, periodicals or pay the value thereof.
- If any book is lost, or damaged by the student, he/she will be responsible for replacing it with a new copy or pay one and a half charge of the original cost of the book and the overdue charge.
- Students can issue one book for one week at a time.
- For late return of books, overdue charges as per prevalent rules.
- For late submission per day Rs. 5/- (Five) will be charged for students.
- The borrower will be responsible for any loss or non-return of any books issued against his/her original or duplicate library ID Card.
- Journals, periodicals, magazines, and reference books are restricted in the library only.
- Usage of mobile phones, headphones, and laptops is not permitted inside the library.
